BRONTE GARDNER - acknowledged on Roll of Honour
At LambEx 2010, during the Novartis Grands-Lamb Dinner, LambEx acknowledged the many, champions of our industry by launching the inaugural Australian Sheep and Lamb Industry Roll of Honour.
This initiative was designed to highlight the fact that it is a remarkable spirit of collaboration and cooperation that has taken the Australian sheep and lamb industry to what it is today. No single person, breed, entity has made the difference. Rather, it is the powerful combination of all – breeders, feeders, researchers, marketers, managers, consultants and of course farmers – that created the Australian Sheep and Lamb Industry Roll of Honour.
The vision is that the Roll of Honour will be extended at each subsequent LambEx, as other states host the event and add their own list of industry champions to the Roll.
Over 150 nominations were received for the inaugural roll and 100 names were recognised.
